It sums up pretty much whe...Thanks for the article. It sums up pretty much where I am, though I'm not quite vegan (haven't got around to ditching cheese yet). I avoid lactose as much for the unpleasant (to me) taste as much as because of its origin in the dairy industry. Like you, I adopt a "don't ask, don't tell policy" with regard to fishy finings. But it shouldn't be too difficult for brewers to use a non-animal fining instead.
